Living in Ruins of the Palace Within My Dreams

I'll never be able to master the art of being a fashion blogger. Taking photos of products is so much easier! Not to mention setting up the tripod, applying a full face of makeup, getting out of my pyjamas to change into actual clothes... it's not easy and I can definitely see how it can become a full time job. Doing more outfit posts has been a blogging goal of mine for the longest time, but it usually requires me to have the whole day off work and on those rare days, I'm catching up on errands, working on other goals or sometimes just simply taking it easy.

Jeffrey Campbell 'Soiree' Gradient Heel Sandal

While browsing the Urban Outfitters website (as you do), I came across these beautiful shoes. At the time, I was trying to save my money, so I told myself I didn't need them, but when I couldn't get them out of my mind, I gave into temptation. I'm weak, I know, don't judge. Unfortunately, by then, they had sold out of my size, so it was a wild goose chase to try and find these beauties elsewhere. I don't think Jeffrey Campbell shoes are stocked anywhere in Australia, but I managed to find them on the UK website, Formosa Fashion.

Birthday/Spring Wishlist

Although there is never a time where I'm not constantly adding things to my never-ending wishlist, I thought I'd share with you some of the items I'm currently lusting after for my birthday next week and the beautiful change in weather. First up, the new iPhone 5S. I am beyond excited to get my hands on this baby and I'm so happy my Vodafone contract expires soon, so that I can change to a company that actually has reception. I currently have the black iPhone 4S and while I do still like it, I'm a minimalist at heart, so it's time to get the white. The only reason I didn't before was because I thought it would get dirty with my foundation! For my cover, I want to start off with this super cute Candy Pink Pantone one. Before I found my love of social media, I wanted to do graphic design, so I've still got that graphic geekiness in me.

Melbourne Haul

I'm not going to deny that I have no self-control when it comes to shopping. I promised myself I wouldn't buy too much when I was on holiday in Melbourne, and I also promised myself I wasn't going to spend too much here in Sydney. Neither of that has happened. Take me to a city with Topshop and I am like a kid in a candy store! I am so deprived in Perth.

More Than You Thought

Oh, boy, this was a messy night. I wore this outfit on a night out for my best friend's birthday back in May where we ate Chinese out at Billy Lee's and saw Flume live at Metro City with our lovely friends. Needless to say, I got insanely drunk mixing Vodka with an already pre-mixed Smirnoff drink and I had a case of the boozey blues the next day. I also had to start work at 7am, which wasn't fun! Nevertheless, it was a really great night out, though I do wish I hadn't got so drunk because I barely paid any attention to Flume while he was on stage and I love live music. His debut self-titled album he released last year is phenomenal and as I thought I'd left my rap-loving days behind back in high school, they however made a comeback upon discovering Flume's music. My favourite tracks are Sleepless and More Than You Thought, and it's amazing how popular his music has become in such a short amount of time. He's an incredibly talented young Australian DJ and the company I'm currently interning for here in Sydney are working with his other musical project, What So Not, which is so cool! I love working in social media!

Jewellery Haul

I love Tiffany's and Pandora as much as any other girl, but I do have a soft spot for the more trendy jewellery on the high street too. These are some of the bits and pieces I've collected over the past few months that I thought I'd show you all in a haul.

TravelSupermarket UK 'Worldwide Wardrobe' Competition

About a month ago, I was contacted by TravelSupermarket in the UK to take part in the blogger competitions they're currently running. I decided to enter the Worldwide Wardrobe one as I thought it would be really fun putting outfits together and well, who doesn't want to win a holiday? For this competition, there is a hypothetical £200 to spend on each of the five travel outfits. The winner will win that money to buy the outfit they designed as well as a holiday to that destination. Some of my favourite London bloggers are judging the competition and I'm really excited to be a part of it, even if I don't win. I thought it would be quite hard, but I suddenly found myself inspired, and creating these outfits is how I spent my Saturday night. Wild! I chose to design four out of the five travel outfits and they're all outfits I'd feel comfortable wearing out myself.

Jeffrey Campbell Suede 'Adelaide' Wedge

For the longest time, I had been wanting a pair of black suede Mary Jane type shoes with a chunky heel. There had been plenty around, but at being hopeless walking in heels, everything I found was too high and felt like I was going to break every bone in my foot. One day, I came across these lovely Tony Bianco 'Norton' heels, which I thought were amazing because I find it so much easier walking in wedges than heels, but unfortunately, they were sold out everywhere I looked online. After much Googling trying to find a similar type of shoe online, I came across these beautiful Jeffrey Campbells on Urban Outfitters. Immediately, I was sold!

What's in My Bag #2

I had been looking for a nice designer bag for a while, but never found anything within a reasonable price range until just recently. I had a look for nice bags on Shopbop and was originally (and crazily!) going to save up for the Alexander Wang Rockie Duffel until a friend convinced me not to buy it. She made a very good point in saying that Alexander Wang bags are very trendy and if you're going to spend a lot of money on a bag, it's worth more to invest in a more classic design.

Recent Purchases

Coming home from Europe with very little money hasn't stopped me from shopping since I've been back! Is it sad that while I was away, I really missed online shopping? I did also purchase a few clothes from Nasty Gal and Blackmilk, but I'm thinking I'll save those for outfit posts as I really want to get into those… which I have been saying for the longest time!

Let's Get Loaded and Make Some Strange Things Come True

Hello, my lovelies! I'm back from my six week trip across Europe and I had the time of my life. Naturally, I did lots of shopping and crossed a lot of things off my wishlist, but being back in blog land has made me crave new things too! It's a never ending cycle for me. To get back into the swings of things, I thought I'd put together a little wishlist of things I'm currently lusting after.
