Although there is never a time where I'm not constantly adding things to my never-ending wishlist, I thought I'd share with you some of the items I'm currently lusting after for my birthday next week and the beautiful change in weather. First up, the new iPhone 5S. I am beyond excited to get my hands on this baby and I'm so happy my Vodafone contract expires soon, so that I can change to a company that actually has reception. I currently have the black iPhone 4S and while I do still like it, I'm a minimalist at heart, so it's time to get the white. The only reason I didn't before was because I thought it would get dirty with my foundation! For my cover, I want to start off with this super cute Candy Pink Pantone one. Before I found my love of social media, I wanted to do graphic design, so I've still got that graphic geekiness in me.
Now, I can't compile a wishlist without a few beauty products. I absolutely adore the Korres Lip Butters and if there's one thing every girl universally understands, it's that you can never have too many lip balms. I currently own the Mango and Wild Rose ones, and would love to add Jasmine to my collection, even just for that soft pastel pink packaging. Still on lip products, I've been trying to branch out more into various lip colours and while I probably wouldn't dare wear a lilac shade on my lips, Up The Amp by MAC is a beautiful purple colour that is bright, but not super crazy. Don't get me wrong, I love super crazy makeup, just not on me! Ever since getting to Diptyque candles and fragrances, I've been wanting to try the Jo Malone colognes. I recently went browsing around David Jones and had a sniff of a few, and they were all just so beautiful. I haven't 100% decided on what scent I want, but the Blackberry & Bay is gorgeous. The thing I love about Diptyque and Jo Malone is that they're so much more refined and little bit more luxurious than your standard designer fragrances. Jurlique is a brand that I still haven't got into yet, but once I have a little bit of cash to spare or get my Myer One rewards, I can't wait to try out their products. I'm a lover of all things rose scented and I'm really eager to try the Rosewater Balancing Mist. As an Australian brand and being Australian myself, I feel that I should support local brands and as if that's a totally legitimate reason to splurge on things I don't need.
I never really gave much thought to the holographic trend until Marc by Marc Jacobs came out with some gorgeous accessories. I love the Techno Key Pouch as it's perfect for quick access to your keys and those daily essential cards that can sometimes can get annoying whipping out of your wallet constantly. It was love at first sight when I walked into Windsor Smith and saw the Lily sandals in Silverspec. I just bought myself the Lily sandals in black and perhaps I'm a little insane for wanting the same shoes in another colour, but they're just so pretty! I have a problem, I know.
You don't have to know me well to know that I am completely and utterly head over heels in love with Paris. To add to my collection of pretty coffee table books, I'd love Paris: A Guide To The City's Creative Heart by Janelle McCulloch and to get lost in the beautiful imagery. I really do miss that big, beautiful city.
