Hey, I'm Tenneil

I live in Perth, Australia, and this is my creative outlet where I blog about beauty, my life and everything in between. I enjoy the '80s, the '90s and anything French, and some of my favourite things in life include music,  film, summer and a nice cup of tea.

Beauty Wishlist

As I'm forever wanting new things, I thought I would compile a wishlist of things I'm currently coveting. It's been extremely difficult living in a big city with a lot more variety and not wanting to blow my entire savings away (I'm looking at you, Topshop!), but hopefully down the track, I'll have a bit of money for some frivolous spending!

I absolutely adore L'Occitane's Almond Shower Oil and swear by it to give me the closest shave when shaving my legs. It smells heavenly and is super moisturising, so I'm dying to try the Supple Skin Oil as a dry body oil. I do have Caudalie's Divine Oil, which I really love, but you can never have too many body oils... right? Still on moisturising products, Soap & Glory's Sugar Crush Body Buttercream is something I need in my life. I'm head over heels in love with the Sugar Crush Fresh & Foamy Body Wash and every time I'm in the shower, I must sniff this stuff for about five minutes straight. That sounds really weird, but it smells that good! I was so excited to see that the Sugar Crush range finally available in Myer stores (I bought my body wash from eBay), so I'll definitely be picking up a tub soon, so I can smell like a fresh and fruity summery cocktail both in and out of the shower.

I have Kate to thank for the next three things I'm lusting after. The first one is Origins No Puffery Cooling Roll-On, which sounds like a really nice product. I need all the help I can get when it comes to feeling awake in the mornings and I love the feeling of cooling and refreshing products that also brighten the eyes. I think this would work well in conjunction with my Origins GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream. The second product is Clarins Lotus Face Treatment Oil. I've heard rave reviews on this from many beauty bloggers and while I've ignored the hype for a while now, I always end up caving in. I couldn't be without serums and oils in my skincare routine as there are so many wonderful benefits of them, and since my days of suffering from acne in high school and university, they've significantly improved my skin. I think this Clarins oil would be a lovely addition to my nighttime skincare routine. REN's Invisible Pores Detox Mask is my third product. I swear, Kate is my biggest skincare enabler, but looking after your skin is so important and honestly, my face can't thank her enough for her wonderful recommendations. I freaking love the Radiance Renewal Mask, but I want a good old classic clay mask in my routine for detoxifying my skin. After weighing up a few choices, I've decided to add REN to my wishlist because of my amazing results using one of their masks already.

When I went to get my haircut a couple of months ago, my hairdresser told me my scalp was looking dry. When she asked me if I have really hot showers, I pleaded guilty. I had wondered what was going on with my scalp and I was thinking I had dandruff, but apparently I'm just suffering from dryness. It's just too cold right now to turn the heat down in my showers, so when I heard about Kérastase's Sensidote Dermo-Calm Masque, it immediately appealed to me. I'm hoping it'll add back some moisture into my scalp to help me get through these colder months while I have lovely steaming hot showers. I don't excessively sweat or anything, but I've heard great things about Vichy's 48hr Anti-Perspirant Treatment. I want to get something that's fresh, long lasting and doesn't leave white marks as the Dove one I'm trying to use up just doesn't cut it in the white marks department. And I'm not going to lie, I love the Tiffany blue and white packaging.

Lastly, on the makeup front, I've been dying to try out some Illamasqua products as they're not available in the Myer city store back home. I've heard great things about their matte lipsticks and I'd love to get my hands on Growl after seeing Jess look so lovely in the colour. As you probably know already, I love my vampy red shades. Since falling in love with YSL's Shocking mascara, I'm eager to try their new Babydoll mascara, which is out in Australia on the 14th of this month. The ad featuring Cara Delevingne is so gorgeous and I definitely have high hopes for it.
