I'll never be able to master the art of being a fashion blogger. Taking photos of products is so much easier! Not to mention setting up the tripod, applying a full face of makeup, getting out of my pyjamas to change into actual clothes... it's not easy and I can definitely see how it can become a full time job. Doing more outfit posts has been a blogging goal of mine for the longest time, but it usually requires me to have the whole day off work and on those rare days, I'm catching up on errands, working on other goals or sometimes just simply taking it easy.
I was beyond excited when the really nice Ryan from Choies contacted me a while ago asking me to cooperate with the website. If you aren't already familiar with them, they're basically an online clothing store that are relatively well-priced in comparison to most high street fashion stores, and feature a lot of designer inspired and on trend pieces. A lot of my favourite fashion bloggers and YouTubers have worked with Choies, so it really felt like a huge honour when I was asked to do so too.
I decided to pair this cute cross crop top from Choies with a leather skirt and my beautiful white platform sandals. I originally had a whole other outfit in mind, but as the weather started warming up, I had to scratch that idea and I came up with this one, which I love even more. I wanted something that was a little 90s and a little dark, and I don't think I've done too badly. My washed out Topshop denim jacket adds to the 90s vibe and ties the whole outfit in together quite nicely, I think. You can never go wrong with a denim jacket. The weather hasn't warmed up that much yet as the nights are still really chilly here in Perth.
Hopefully I can get myself organised to do more outfit posts in the future if that's something you're interested in. As much as I'm addicted to buying products, I do find blog post after blog post on beauty a little boring. It's good to mix it up a little!
