Birthday High Tea
On the 30th of September, I celebrated yet another birthday, and even though I'm at that age now where I dread it, I still like to do something nice with my family and friends to make the day a little less depressing!
I took the day off work to spend the afternoon at the Duxton Hotel for high tea with my mum, nanna, sister and a family friend. It was a lovely la-dee-da day with cute little desserts (macarons!), tiny sandwiches, champagne, scones and of course, tea. I'd love to do another high tea at the Pan Pacific Hotel (it was all booked when I rang) as the menu looks absolutely amazing. And my ultimate high tea indulgent? The Ritz in Paris!
The next day, I went to Parklife with my friends where I saw Chairlift, Tame Impala, Passion Pit and The Presets live. All bands were so much fun live and it was such a great day spent with my friends. Sun, music, dancing and drinks! Does it get much better than that?
